City staff recommend eliminating some bus routes and scaling back weekend service to make up for a budget shortfall, after city council froze transit funding earlier this year.
“It's probably been about two decades since I rode a city bus,” said a local hotel manager. “But I don't mind paying for it [through property taxes] to make sure that my staff get here on time.”
