Made by Me Market

The Made by Me Market will showcase handcrafted goods and fine art by local artisans on June 22 and June 23 outside the Silver Bean Café. Each day will feature a different lineup of vendors. The market will run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on both days.

With vendors offering a variety of handmade wares including paintings, cards, wreaths, dog treats, furniture, sun catchers, kitchen towels, jewelry, toys, hair clips, skin care items, journals, lanterns, tutus, beaded pens, stickers, purses, candles, and too many more items to list, visitors can explore a wide range of fine arts and functional pieces.

Everyone in attendance will also receive a free handmade bookmark by local artisan and Made by Me Market organizer Cheryl Edwards. “It’s a way to say thank you for your support,” Edwards said. “And it’s a new feature of the show.”

“The mission of Made by Me Market is to transfer ownership of locally created art and functional art to Peterborough residents,” she added. “There are hundreds of artists and craftspeople in Peterborough. Made by Me Market offers them an opportunity to expose their creations and share them with others in the community.”

Artisans keep all of their profits, with booth fees solely used for marketing and rental of the space.
