Celebrate the Summer Solstice and Indigenous Peoples Day with Nogojiwanong Friendship Centre at 580 Cameron Street on June 21.
From 1 to 5 p.m., the Friendship Centre is hosting an afternoon of crafts and activities with a sacred fire, strawberry teachings, vendors, hand drumming, and more.
Guests can also share a free community meal at 4 p.m.
Parking at 580 Cameron Street is limited, so organizers ask visitors to reserve the onsite parking lot for those with mobility needs.
A shuttle to the Friendship Centre will be available from 884 Ford Street every half hour from 12:55 to 4:30 p.m. Shuttles returning from the Friendship Centre to 884 Ford Street will also run every half hour from 1:15 p.m. to 5 p.m.
