New Canadians Centre’s 45th Anniversary Block Party

Join the New Canadians Centre for their 45th anniversary block party June 28 from 2 to 6 p.m.

Taking place outdoors at the New Canadians Centre (221 Romaine Street), the block party will feature a talent show, multicultural crafts, henna, face painting, a bouncy castle, and food.

There will also be a Cultural Fair onsite to give visitors the chance to learn more about some of Peterborough’s multicultural and faith-based groups and programming. GreenUp will facilitate a bike playground, and the Peterborough Public Library and YMCA will offer fun activities as well.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets with them to this free, family-friendly event. In the event of rain, the party will move into the New Canadians Centre building.
